Every member of our team is highly qualified and passionate about the work they do.

Each individual clinician also deserves to have their achievements highlighted, and we want you to know exactly what their expertise has to offer you.

Introducing our Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Acupuncturist & Pilates instructor, Stephanie Wood. Not only is Stephanie trained and registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP), she is also a member of the Acupuncture Association for Chartered Physiotherapists (MAACP) since training as a physiotherapist in 2008.

Stephanie is a specialist in a vast array of neuromusculoskeletal pathologies including chronic and acute pain conditions, postural neck and spinal issues, sporting injuries, whiplash, headaches, and post-operative management. She has worked hard to hone her skills in an impressive 10-year career of lending her expertise to private practices.

In her hands-on, manual approach to therapy, she delivers individualised evidence-based Pilates and exercise rehabilitation programs to her clients to help them reach their specific goals. Stephanie is proud to deliver expert clinical therapy at Gosforth Physio & Wellness as we are the home of Newcastle physiotherapy, where she completed her Physiotherapy degree in 2008.

Since achieving her goal, she has worked in occupational health, medico-legal clinics and musculoskeletal outpatient settings amongst the private practices. Passionate about the work she does and experienced in delivering desired outcomes, Stephanie is an asset to the team who will deliver first-rate treatment every time.
