Call 07904 681477

An ingrown toenail is a nail which has broken the skin and is causing an infection. More commonly treated is an involuted nail, where the nail curls in at the sides and can even lead to a tube shaped nail. This can be incredibly painful if not cut correctly.

Do you want relief from your painful Ingrowing Toenail?

Good news

Newcastle Podiatry are our expert Podiatrists working here at Gosforth Physio and Wellness. James is highly skilled in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of ingrown toenails. These can have secondary effects preventing you from being able to maintain and improve your fitness, as many forms of exercise involve being on your feet!

If you are in pain from nail which is digging in, we recommend booking in for a ‘General Foot Care – Assessment’ with our highly experienced podiatrist who can very carefully cut the nail and remove the offending spike.

Often we can solve painful nails with a general foot care, but you may require nail surgery if no progress is made with conventional techniques.

If you have any questions about whether nail surgery is right for you, please get in touch and call 07904 681477.

Better by 5

Over 90% of our patients get ‘Better by 5’ sessions.

If you need any of our physiotherapy, sports injury, sports massage or acupuncture services, you should see and feel a real difference by the end of your fifth session.

If, on the other hand, there is no improvement in your clinical condition or in the way you feel – we STOP after the fifth session. At that point, we reassess the reasons why there has been no apparent improvement and, if necessary, we can organise scans and letters to GP's and Consultants. You can be sure that we will never continue treating you unless there is a positive benefit – and only when you (and we) agree on your treatment plan.
